Update- The app is still not working right at all and it's not working with my coworkers either. It was a pretty good app up until these last couple of months. Once I'm logged in I can't scroll or click on anything. I even spoke with someone from the company and they said they are not aware of any issues. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck.
The app was great until they changed the section for hardship withdrawals and loan. They should never pet rhe stakeholders and devs change this app. I use to be able to view withdrawal limit and loan limits easily through the app. Now to view this section under transactions, it takes to a mobile website of the app where you have to login again and click hardship or loan again and it does not takd you anywhere. Change it back to way it was. This is too frustrating
Buggy. Some pages (such as View Contributions) just play the loading animation and never provide information. The in-app Contact Us via Email form doesn't even work (Send button is non-functional) so I can't even report these issues. Better off using the website rather than this app for anything other than a basic balance check.
The app works just fine once I'm logged in, but I am NEVER able to log in with my username and password. Every single time, it says "Login Unsuccessful" and I have to enter my SSN and DOB, then enter a code sent via text to log in. I've tried resetting my password a couple of times thinking maybe I'm just not entering the right password, but I know for sure now that I'm entering the correct password, it just keeps forcing me to login another way. The app is up to date. Super annoying.
No longer able to use "old version" the new version isn't as helpful. The balance history chart isn't interactive or is very temperamental at least. I used to be able to touch part of the graph to see my balance at that point in time. Now it's just a big squiggly blue line. Liked the old version better unfortunately. Still a quick way to look at my current balance though.
Messaging does not work on this app. Fingerprint sign-in requires many steps: pop-ups and clicks — why? Also, I cannot use it to track investments and savings with other companies as the app claims. set-up for the tracking always fails — why? The only thing it does right is listing the day's results for the funds I am invested in, but sometimes those data do not appear on the site for hours after the company's published deadline.
App is completely broken. Has been for over a year. I've had 3 phones in this time, and several complete reinstalls of the app, and it still will not let me log in. I enter my info, and it just spins forever. Updating March of 2024. New phone, 2 years later and it is STILL broken. They seem to actively not care about their customers. I'm in the process of moving my account away from them, and will NEVER be back.
Was working perfectly up until end of December. Now it won't let me login at all and won't recognize my user info. Not worth keeping anymore. Don't bother downloading it until you see reviews that they fixed the problem. Update: the app failed to recognize my login information and suspended my account. Just tried Uninstaller and reinstalling the app and then signing in with the new password and the app won't recognize it at all. Got my account suspended twice. Don't bother with this app.
Opened it to do a purchase but my fingerprint wouldn't work and the app said I had to do something about my login. Suspecting a hack, I tried my PC. That worked fine. However, because of the delay, my purchase went beyond the closing bell by one minute. Phoned T.Rowe Price but, although it was their buggy update's fault, they refused to fix the timing. Their fault but I paid the price -- the T.Rowe Price.
Dead app. Downloaded the app for the first time this morning, and after entering my login details, it spins indefinitely and never loads. based on some of the other reviews, this seems to be an issue with the new version. Please never remove the web version. I don't like working on my phone but wanted to try the mobile app for quick access to the message center.
After the change over to this new mobile format. The app doesn't function during the day. It attempts to load my data and then I just get a blank screen. Sometime during off hours (after 6:00 pm EST) it will load my data. The previous version of the mobile software worked fine. This updated mobile version is really nonexistent, when it can't load my data.
Same thing that everyone else is saying. Worked fine for years, now I can't login with fingerprint. Their one response said to click on login with password, delete the username, the re-enable fingerprint, but that didn't work either. It says invalid username or password. I know the password is right because I use it on my desktop machine all the time. Very disappointed.
I can't even log in for the first time. I provide my username and password, hit continue, and then get an error saying "All values must be provided." There are no other boxes I need to fill in. I will reconsider my rating when/if the app is fixed, and I can actually use it. For now, it's utterly broken and a waste of time.
After a recent update the fingerprint login option was replaced with "Passkey". After logging in with my username and password, I went to "Manage Passkey" to see if I can create one. The app says that my device is incompatible with "Passkey" despite the fact that the minimum version is Android 9, and my device is on Android 13 and has biometrics enabled. Also 99% of the charts have been removed. I'm not happy at all with the latest updates.
The app used to be fairly reliable, but, since December it's been a hot mess! Lately, the only way I can access my account via the app is by inputting my social security number and date of birth.Not a very secure way to access your account. The stand alone website is also prone to glitches. I am ready to switch to a more reliable platform. Trowe Price needs to fire the folks in charge of their online and cellphone apps.
BROKEN - At one time it was a good app, now the "new" layout is less helpful, harder to read, and has less information. Logging into the app is so broken that the auto fill doesn't work, biometrics doesn't work, and the passkey doesn't work, and you still need 2 step verification without a way to turn it off. Having an app is supposed to be quick and easy vs going on the website. So what's the point of the app when it is a headache every time just to sign in? For TRowe... get new app designers
Completely useless app. Fingerprint login never works but works with the rest of my apps on my Galaxy S8. Unable to sign in, even though I'm using the exact same credentials with the website and get logged in with no issues. Continue to get the error that "all values must be provided"... clearing out username, retyping and typing password and I'm still getting the same, redundant, frustrating error. Uninstalled.
I haven't been able to login in months. I don't want to hear "uninstall and reinstall" because I've done that like 50 times. Just fix the app, it obviously has issues, stop making everyone feel like they are technologically challenged. It's in your end, not ours! Extremely upset and disappointed.
10JUN23: I can't log in via the app, but I can use a browser on the same phone to log in? Right. Makes zero sense. Btw, the requirements in the Play Store states Android 7.0 and up. If a newer version is required, you should probably change that. Time to move my money elsewhere. 03JUN23: App version 7.0. Haven't been able to log in via the app for a few weeks not. Tried biometrics and password. I can log into my account via a browser just fine. Please fix your app.
Update now the app is even worse.. went from 2 start to 1 if I could it would be zero. can not even log in due to app issue. Poor log in page. Offers biometric and password. Bio just will keep reloading the bio long in page again and again. That aside it does not allow you to update your address (ive moved twice and unfortunately its still the first.)
